the sunflowers were loaded with bumble bees!
Every year the birds plant me a sunflower. This year’s is the best so far! One plant, lots of flowers.

Today was a beautiful day for a walk along the
Illinois River in Starved Rock State Park….
Wild Penstemon & Spiderwort
Today on our usual drive through Starved Rock
(to see the flooding~ again),

we see these white and purple flowers along the roadside…
