It was really nice to see the sun today. My sycamore seemed to glow.
October trees at the Starved Rock Lodge
Today we went to Starved Rock Lodge to look for fall foliage.
There were bits of color here and there but not much to speak of yet.
So instead I’ll share some chainsaw sculptures carved out of dead trees trunks.
Theses are all still rooted in the ground
There is always music amongst the trees,
but our hearts must be still to hear it
